Introducing Overnight Lodging at Camp River Ranch in Carnation!
Do you love Carnation (and the fireworks!) and wish you could avoid the drive back home - or, if local, plan some camping without having to drive? If so, you’re in luck!
Come camp overnight @ Camp River Ranch, starting July 4 weekend! This year, Girl Scouts of Western Washington are partnering with Carnation 4th of July to make the Girl Scouts’ magical, 480-acre Camp River Ranch available to 4th of July visitors (and locals) of all genders and ages - Girl Scouts or not!
Families and groups of all kinds can stay at Camp River Ranch, right behind Remlinger Farms at Lake Langlois, for the 4th of July weekend… and book cabins or other gathering spaces at this property all the way through Labor Day.
Accessible Pricing: Through the Camp S’More Program (at Girl Scouts Camp River Ranch), visitors to Carnation can rent a 6 to 8-person cabin for between $30-40 per night total, or a troop house that sleeps 30 for ~$160.
Additional Activities: Visitors can register in advance for accessibly priced additional camping fun activities such as canoeing, kayaking, STEM workshops, archery, and campfires. No drugs, alcohol, dogs, or firearms are allowed on Girl Scouts’ properties.
Registration + Booking: To book, check availability online here or contact Girl Scouts’ Site Reservations line at sitereservation@girlscoutsww.org or (800)-541-9852.
Curious to plan for next year? Join the Camp River Ranch program staff for a fun-filled Kid Zone at Vendor Village in Tolt Commons downtown, 10:30am-3pm, or come out to River Ranch’s North Entrance for a 3-5pm family picnic and open house/reception the afternoon of the 4th!
